Day 365- A Happy Ending

Happy New Year’s Eve!  What a great way to end the year, surrounded by awesome friends.  So, why am I ending on Day 365 and it was a leap year?  I didn’t know that I had skipped a day until just now.  It looks like I missed a day in November and didn’t notice.  I don’t know what day it was and don’t know how to find out now.  I guess I’ll add an extra picture from November, but I’m not renumbering the other entries.

Thanks to everyone that has followed my blog for the year!  I now have one huge album to put together.  I had so much fun posting a picture a day.  We’ll see what the new year brings.  I don’t know if I’ll do it again, or not.  Happy New Year!

Day 364- Exploding Christmas Tree

Just playing with one last shot at Christmas lights.  I can’t believe my tree is still up!  I got the rest of the decorations put away but the tree is still here.  One more day, I guess.

Day 362- Back in Time

Amy and I did a fun engagement session this afternoon. The couple wanted to dress like they had for a play. They had so much fun, really getting into character. You can see more from me and Amy on our blog: expressivemoments.wordpress.com/

Day 363- No Fun!

It’s no fun having a sick baby.  Poor Alaina started feeling bad on Sunday night, with a high fever.  She coughed all night and is not herself.  She doesn’t want to eat or drink much and wants to sleep a lot!

Day 361- Another Christmas

We went to Daddy’s today to celebrate Christmas, one last time.  It was fun to see everybody and blow up some potatoes.  Tyler looks so happy with his potato gun.  It wouldn’t be a get-together without blowing something up or burning something.

Day 360- After-Holiday Fun

Ahh, so glad today was calm and relaxing.  Things have been so rushed and busy lately.  It was great to have a break.  We got up and took it easy today, and then headed out to run a few errands and hit the mall, briefly.  We stopped by the grocery store to use our giftcard from Lani.  She sent it to us with a note telling us to buy some seafood, make some margaritas, put on Jimmy Buffett, and bring the beach to us.  Perfect!  You can see Tyler’s gift from Alaina in the background- a tabletop ping pong net.  How fun!

Day 359- Santa Came!

We got up early to quickly see what Santa brought, before heading out to the families’ houses.  Alaina of course had to claim her presents by sitting on one.  Merry Christmas to all!!!

Day 358- Cookie Tradition

My mom, Melanie, and I have made cookies at Christmas every year that I can remember.  Matthew got to join in the fun a few years ago, and now the girls got to help this year.  They don’t quite have the concept down yet, but they all know how to eat them.  Alaina looks like she gets it!  I hope we’ll be able to keep up the tradition for years to come!

Day 357- Repeat

This feels like a repeat picture to me.  I chose this over many cute Alaina pictures.  She got a growing puppy from her Gram, and I got some cute pictures of her riding it like a horse.  I looked back and saw that I took a similar, but not the same, picture on Day 31 (that would be Jan 31st.)  I really like having these pictures from each day.  I have gotten so slow at posting, though.  I need to decide on something for the new year.

Day 356- We Made It!

I’m glad we made it to Angela’s tonight.  We planned a night, canceled, and then still got to get together.  Geez!  Schedules!  Hunter, Talan, and Alaina had fun playing.  I wish we could do it as much as we used to.
