I think this is a fitting costume for Alaina. She can not stay still, just like any one-year-old. I was afraid she wasn’t going to wear it. The times I tried it on her, she screamed, but surprisingly, she did great with it! She had fun going trick-or-treating!
I’ve been trying to get outside more while we still can. It’s going to be cold soon. It already has been some. I wish it could stay warm.
We went to Amy and JD’s to carve pumpkins tonight. Alaina found plenty to keep her busy. She became good buddies with Amber, who covered her in leaves. Alaina loved it! She enjoyed helping with the pumpkins, too. She would take the pumpkin goo out of the bowl, and put it back in the pumpkin. Thanks!
Alaina did pretty well with her first real try at spaghetti. She’s had some but never fed herself. She was able to have a meal from it. She used the fork some and her hands some.
Alaina will climb on anything she can get her knee on, which seems to be more and more. She loves standing on her chair from Amy so she can turn her light on and off. She thinks it’s great!
I did some family/maternity pictures for this family today. Nyah was such a cute girl and very excited about her baby brother.
I had the pleasure of getting to shoot this wedding with Nicole from Nicole Hensley Photography today. It was such a beautiful wedding, couple, and fall day! What a great combination! I will be posting more pictures from today on my photography blog. I’m still playing catch-up.
I know it’s a week early, but I’m trying to get in the spirit. I still need to come up with costumes for me and Tyler- something cheap and simple will do. I just need to think of something. Any ideas? We’re going to be trick-or-treating (a little) with our bumble bee and her cousins, that is if we can get Alaina to wear her costume without crying. So far, it hasn’t gone well. Then we’re off to a Halloween Party after bedtime.
